Santa Maria Bay (also known as St. Mary's Bay) is a small sandy beacht tucked into Comino's picturesque north coast. This tiny patch of paradise offers a quieter, more secluded swimming experience and it is mostly visited for a day by locals during the summer season, who come to enjoy its crystal-clear waters, and sandy beach. The bay is a great spot for swimming, and sunbathing.

With clear shallow waters and lifeguards on duty throughout the day, the bay is extremely family-friendly. Known for its calm azure waters, it is excellent for swimming and snorkelling, whilst its abundance of sea life makes it a popular choice among divers too. The beach’s smooth silky sands are ideal for sunbathing, sea gazing and sandcastle building, whilst for those seeking a bit more luxury there are sunbeds available too. Rich in natural life, the Island is favoured by hikers, and a mere 20 minutes walk from the Blue Lagoon, the beach is an excellent stop-off on any country walk.
A magical day at the seaside for one and all, stunning St Marija Bay is certainly worth exploring!
A haven of tranquility on a small but charming island!
